Goodnight Moon Rating 5

Goodnight Moon
This is a wonderful book that should be a part of a child’s nightly reading ritual. This book helped me est my son into a ritual of these are the things we do before bed and the last thing is Goodnight Moon and then prayer.
The boy in the story says goodnight to everything, everyone and every inanimate object in his room and when he finishes saying good night to everything he then goes to sleep. The pages are colorfully and the words are small and easy for your little ones to say.
It’s a book that every child should have in their collection.
Games of the Heart (Rating 3.5 )

Games of the Heart
Love Bug
Pamela Yaye takes on the sports industry from the standpoint of the business world and a businesswoman who is determine to make a name for herself but not before love hits her and makes her reevaluate life.
Sage Collins is a junior agent at a exclusive sports agency who is determined to get her hands on the next big sports star to get the promotion and raise she feels she so rightfully deserves but how far will she go to get the deal. Sage has never been one to back down from a challenge but when she meets the father of her next big superstar, she finds herself putting her street smarts into practice to get close. Marshall Grant has been doing everything in his power to get it into his child’s mind that his college education is important and not some draft to play sports while making sure any agent who approaches him is intimidated or shown the door being told that Khari Grant is not signing with anyone. When Sage finds herself, need deep in lies and in love with the father of her client who could make or break her, she finds herself having a deep moment of what is right and what is wrong. Khari & Sage hit it off making it even harder for her to do what it takes to sign the deal but unknowingly to Marshall and Sage love had overtaken everything but how much can love over come lies and deceit.
While the book was, a fast pace it seemed to slow back down in the middle but pick up again towards the end but nonetheless Pamela has always been an author who has known how to mix sports and romance stories together. While this book is not exactly what I, am use to from Mrs. Yaye it was a great read about a single father who would go the limits to ensure his son’s education & future. I look forward to reading more from Mrs. Yate in the coming future.

YOU DON’T SCARE ME
Rochelle Alers returns with her thirteenth Hideaway book bringing us a glimpse into the lives of the children of the men & women we fell in love with a decade or more ago.
Diego Cole-Thomas is his grand papa’s twin when it comes to running a business not only is he intimidating to many but he’s a private man who goes after what he wants and doesn’t stop till he gets it. Diego has been on the search for an assistant who can balance his life and business life but with a few stipulations so when he meets Vivienne Kay Neal he is at awe with the woman presented to him because he realizes she does not fear him, which only makes him respect her more.
Vivienne had been at odds with herself when her husband had been killed but she also knew that her marriage had been over way before it could really start. Playing the grieving widow had driven her nuts leaving her to find exile away from it all. However when she finds herself going toe to toe with Diego she refuses to become an arm ornament and she pushes his buttons to get responses to see what worked and what got what.
Diego & Vivienne cross the line of employee and employer taking an office relationship to a completely new level. Rochelle does an excellent job of allowing Diego & Vivienne playing alpha characters without taking away from the book.
I cannot wait for book number fourteen. Who will it be?

Deifying Desire by AC Arthur

THE LAST OF THE TRIPLE THEART
Avid Rating 4.5
Ghosts from The Past
Deifying Desire is the third book to the Donovan family and as everyone suspected when the last man falls he falls hard.
Trent Donavan met Tia St. Claire when he went to help his brother’s girlfriend out during a fashion show but never before did he suspect to begin to have a desire for her that led to him extracting the number from his soon to be sister in law.
However, Tia St Claire has ghost from her past that haunts her daily leading to her secluded life until Trent steps in. AC Arthur pulls off another exciting book from the Donavan family bringing the last Triple Threat Donavan to his feet. AC is defiantly an author to keep your eyes on as she continues to bring heat and passion to her stories and the romance world.

REGGIE WESTERMORELAND
Tall… Dark… Westermoreland
Brenda Jackson
Rating 0
Politically Incorrect
Tall Dark Westermoreland was a deeply passionate novel with a few problematic situations but I defiantly felt a little passion in the book, which was missing.
Olivia Jefferies finds herself being called home to be her father’s escort to political dinners while he attempts to gain more support from his peers for their votes. But when she goes to a masquerade ball in her father’s place she finds herself reacting to a man who she doesn’t know but she knows that she wants him in the most intimate way. Reggie Westermoreland is running for office and knows all of his time should be devoted on the election but when he meets his masked female friend; her lips entrap him and want to explore her body more. When Jack Sprat & Wonder Woman (Olivia & Reggie’s names for the masquerade ball) get together they find their selves involved in an intense affairs however neither realizes how close their paths will cross.
Olivia is beside herself when she realizes that Jack Sprat is Reggie Westermoreland especially since her father is running against him and considers him the enemy. When Reggie realizes who his Wonder Woman is he is determined to have her as his because he has fallen or her within a matter of minutes. Olivia & Reggie find their selves in a world win affair that has its ups & downs but blossoms with passion & hope.
Brenda Jackson writes a book that many would considered a politically incorrect number as well as it has a future culture incorrect pieces but I felt a small amount of Brenda Jackson in that piece but I also felt a little Rochelle Alers well maybe more Rochelle Alers.
NOTE: Mrs. Jackson review score has greatly been affected by the fact that one of her climaxes in the book are a direct repeat of Rochelle Alers Just Before Dawn & Private Passions from the Hideaway series. Creditably is now a big question for me.
